The Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy and Wicked Weed Brewing are excited to be working together to bring you a Farm to Table Beer Dinner on SAHC’s 140 acre conserved Community Farm. Since 2010 SAHC, along with help from volunteers and partners within the community,have restored streams and created a farmland access service, farm workshop series and educational opportunites for youth on the property. The farm is now a healthy, vibrant part of the community. We will dine in a beautiful pastural setting overlooking the preserved farmscape.

The Cultura culinary team from Wicked Weed Brewing will artfully prepare a locally sourced meal served family style with ingredients from Hickory Nut Gap Meats and Flying Cloud Farm, two families who chose to protect their farms forever with SAHC. Other local farms have also donated produce to make this meal amazing for you and affordable for SAHC. This meal will be paired with beer from Wicked Weed Brewing, including Appalachia Session IPA. Make plans to come out a little early and join us for a tour of the farm, including meeting the farmers who are part of the Incubator Farm Program. We’d love to show you!

Proceeds benefit the proctection of local farmland and mountain land. Come dine with us, have a good time and support SAHC! Dress is casual.
